At Patch Tattoo Therapy we follow all practices and procedures set by both state and industry laws. All of our tools, instruments, and procedures have been reviewed and approved by the LA County Health Department, including disposable tattoo needle tips, disposable rotary cartridges, and tattoo machines. All stations are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each session. At Patch Tattoo Therapy we hold ourselves to a strict standard to ensure all of our clients have a safe, positive experience.

Billing:

We determine the price of a tattoo depending on the size, location, and complexity of the tattoo. Your artist will give you an approximate estimate of the price range of your tattoo. You will not be charged more than the highest estimate rate unless there are significant design changes or unforeseen situations.

In order to book a session with us, we require a deposit that the price will be decided at your consultation. The deposit will hold the date and time of your appointment, Failure to arrive at your appointment on time can result in you losing your deposit. We are happy to accept most major credit cards and cash.

Risks Associated with Tattoos:

A tattoo is a piece of body art that will stay on the skin forever. It is important to note that there is no way currently to remove a tattoo completely from your body. Tattoos are increasingly becoming more popular, but they are still not accepted in all professions and cultures. It is important to consider how your new body art will affect your life.

Your tattoo will vary slightly from the original drawing and stencil of the art due to skin type, tone, and body shape. As the skin ages, your tattoo may look different than when you first received it and you should do your research on the tattoo aging process.

Possible risks and complications include allergies, infections, and inflammation. We go above and beyond to keep our parlor clean and sanitized, but unfortunately, there is always a risk of infection. We strongly suggest that you consult with your doctor or dermatologist to determine your potential risk with body art.

We will provide detailed aftercare instructions, but it is your responsibility to thoroughly follow these instructions. We are happy to answer any questions about your aftercare!

Do your own research on possible skin conditions, risks, and all the other concerns that you may have about getting a tattoo. We are happy to provide as much information as we can, but we encourage you to be well-informed on tattoos before your session with us.
