How long can I access the course?

Lifetime Access! Watch as often as you like and as many times as you like.

Do I need to attend a class at a specific time?

No need! You can access the training videos at your own convenience. All videos and Q&A sessions will be posted on the education platform.

When will future Shading and Color courses be released?

As mentioned in the description, this Tattoo Lining Skills course is a prerequisite before taking future Shading and Color courses (both online and in-person) and will only be available to artists who have successfully completed the course.

We do not have an estimated date yet as to when Shading and Color courses will be available, but our target is sometime in 2024.

Do I need to have an art background to successful complete this course?

No art background is necessary. We have had students with very limited self-teaching art experience excel in our classes.

Will the Mentor provide feedback on practice?

The main advantage of the in-person class is getting continuous feedback on homework. If the online class had only 10 students that could be done, but we're likely to have many sign ups and it's not realistically possible to fairly review everyone's homework and provide thorough feedback. We will, however, provide explanations on common mistakes and problems that we've seen from many students and your issues will most likely be addressed. If not, the best route is to submit your question in the Q&A form when that is released, interact with members in the community and/or potentially try to join future seminars, workshops or in-person classes.

Is there a limited headcount?

This class has no headcount limit which means that anyone can join at anytime. The in-person classes all have limited seats and are therefore very competitive to enroll.

Are there Refunds?

ALL Purchases are considered ‘final sale’, and are non-refundable.

Is there any way to meet with Jingxi?

We are considering a live seminar in person for a certain price when the course is over, but that is still in discussion.

When will the Q&A Form be released?

The Q&A form will be released during the middle and end of the course to collect questions. The most frequently asked questions will be answered in live Q&A webinar sessions. Then they will be posted on the education platform for all users to watch.

Are payment plans offered?

Sorry no payment plans are offered as we don't have an efficient way of collecting partial payments.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept Credit Card or Paypal payments.

Will certificates be offered?

Yes, after we've created all lessons and you completed all courses, we will provide a certificate of participation.

Does completing the online course increase my chance of getting into the in-person courses?

Yes, the online courses will be a pre-requisite to join the in-person course and when we evaluate candidates for the in-person course, we will take special notice to artists who have already taken the course.

Does completing this course guarantee an apprenticeship at Patch Tattoo Therapy?

This is an introduction course separate from the apprenticeship which is pretty competitive to get into and requires all students to take both this Tattoo Lining Skills online course and the In-person Beginner's Course to be considered.

If you are interested in the apprenticeship, first take this online course then email us at training@patchtattootherapy.com to get added to the notification mailing list where we will email you once the apprenticeship application process is open again.

Will this course work for dark skin?

Definitely! This course works for any skin and we also explain skin tone a bit as well.

Can I join the course late?

Absolutely! It doesn't matter when you sign up as all videos and content will be uploaded to the education system for user access.

Can this course replace an apprenticeship?

Definitely not! This is a supplemental course to fill in the gaps your apprenticeship does not help you with. It is very important that you have a mentor guide and monitor you through the real skin tattooing process.
